DESCRIPTION AKA Malaysian Moon Moth.Beautiful long tailed moon moth from the family Saturniidae. Found in tropical and evergreen forests from Malaysia to the Philippines. There is a marked colour and size difference between the smaller male which is a deep golden colour with brown/purple markings, whilst the adult female is a pale green colour. This is known as sexual dimorphism. Both are beautiful moths.
Stocked infrequently. A must for collectors.
Set in white matt.
