DESCRIPTION AKA Luna Moth. The luna moth gets its name from its moon-like spots on each wing. This small pale lemon / lime winged moth has several spots on the forewings with lovely long tails. The female displays shorter lower wings and is a little stouter looking than the male. The adult Saturniidae moths have no mouth parts or feeding tubes. The moths live for 7-10 days as adults, utilizing fats stored from caterpillar days.
These specimens are hand reared and colours / sizes may vary slightly.
