DESCRIPTION  AKA Spotted lilac tree nymph. This small butterfly from Africa has an unusual mauve/lavender colouring on the upperside wings whereas the underside is a stark contrast rich orange colour . From the family Nymphalidae ( brush-footed butterflies ). Colour changes slightly when viewed from different angles. Small but very pretty.
