DESCRIPTION AKA Acuminate horseshoe bat. From the family Rhinolophidae. It was described 1871 by German naturalist Wilhelm Peters. Its species name "" is Latin for "pointed." It is nocturnal , roosts in small colonies and is found resting in caves or under palm leaves. It is a pale grey brown with pointed nose.
