DESCRIPTION Out of 29 species of Morpho this butterfly is one of the biggest of all the morpho with a wingspan of up to 15 cm! The center has a lovely sky blue fading out to a black border. The leaf look-a-like underside is a brownish colour which when the wings are closed provides excellent camouflage when resting in branches. Huge specimen!
