DESCRIPTION AKA Lesser false vampire bat. It is insectavorious large dark winged bat with a wingspan of up to 32cms. It is often found in forested tracts and has been observed to roosts in tree hollows, culverts, and caves. These taxidermy specimens are a bi-product of the pest control industry. No animals are killed directly for the purpose of taxidermy.
