DESCRIPTION AKA Peppermint stick insect. These stick insects are native to Australia and are found in the far north rainforest of QLD and mainly feed on the leaves of the pandanus tree. They spray a peppermint smelling liquid when threatened. The males live to approximately 5 months whilst the females live to 20 months. These may be bred in captivity as pets.
