DESCRIPTION Pretty golden yellow giant silk worm moth with a wingspan of 12cm. This is the female which is larger than the male and has slightly different markings. Adults emerge before sunrise and mate after midnight the next day. Pupation takes place in underground burrows and caterpillars feed on a variety of foodplant. The adults do not feed.
