DESCRIPTION  AKA The Violet-washed Charaxes. Burning red hues on this very pretty specimen. Shown virso side which highlights the assorted colourings on this pretty African butterfly. From the family Nymphalidae it is widely distributed throughout neighbouring countries of Ghana, Liberia Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast.
