DESCRIPTION AKA Lacewing. It is a species of butterfly belonging to the family Nymphalidae. At a quick glance this butterfly looks mostly black with an orange center but viewed from an angle the wings are a beautiful rich royal blue fringed with black. The ventral shown has stunning lace markings.
