DESCRIPTION    Tylonycteris robustula AKA Greater Bamboo Bat. This small species is relatively widespread, not uncommon, is tolerant of a range of habitats and there are no known major threats. They have a flattened head with a short snout and triangular ears. It is a small dark brown bat with wing spread measuring around 17cm. The bats are insectivorous, with flies, beetles and wasps  which they catch on the wing, using echolocation.

Hipposideros bicolor  AKA  Leaf-nosed bat. This bat has a wingspan of up tp 21cms with large ears and a horse-shoe shaped nose leaf. Widely distributed with large populations throughout  South East Asia from India to China to Thailand and Malaysia.This species can be found in colonies of up to 50,000 individuals. Roosts include mainly within caves. Its flight is fast due to its long narrow wings and feeds mainly on insectsg.
