DESCRIPTION AKA The Spanish Moon Moth. This moths wings has the most delicate and unusual mint/moss green and tan colouration.The female is smaller but stouter than the male ( see image of two frames ). Pinus sylvestris is the native host plant which is endemic to the mountainous regions in the Alps and Pyrenees in Spain, France, and Switzerland.
Our specimens are farmed and due to seasonal fluctuations and breeding difficulties these are rarely available.
