DESCRIPTION AKA Glorious Purplewing. Beautiful brush-footed butterfly from the family Nymphalidae. This small butterfly is highly coloured with instense midnight blue colourations on both wings when viewed at certain angles. This is a delicate royal blue / purple metallic colour and is found in the lowland forests and feeds on rotting fruit.
