DESCRIPTION Unusual black and white striped markings highlighted with occasional mustard areas. This large butterfly breeds in lowland wet tropical forests. Shown verso side which is the most interesting side of this butterfly with it's black and white zebra like markings. They are often seen imbiding moisture from mineral-rich damp sand along the beaches of rivers. They have a rapid and powerful flight. This is a spectacular looking butterfly.
