DESCRIPTION AKA Purple Glory. From the family Nymphalidae this stunning butterfly has the most beautiful wings infused with a deep violet blue enhanced with blood red markings on black wings. All the Preponas are found in the neotropic ecozones of South America. They are often found feeding on rotting fruit or animal dung. One of the most vivid coloured butterfly in our collection and much sort after by collectors.
RARE
As we rarely receive this beautiful beetle we have decided to keep it in our collection but thought our clients may want to view this beautiful species.
