DESCRIPTION AKA Flower beetle. Lovely tan colour on elytra on this cetonid beetle. Specimens can range from 50-70mm and are often kept as pets and can be reared by enthusiasts. In the wild they feed on tree sap and the larvae reside in the compost which forms inside descomposing logs. Stunning specimens.
