DESCRIPTION Pretty blue butterfly AKA The Blue Pansy or The Blue Argus. With its scalloped wing margins and beautiful markings this little junonia is found in many gardens and open wasteland. It is common along the east coast of Queensland reaching the tip of NSW and the top end of Australia. The male is smaller than the female which has larger eyespots and is a lighter blue in appearance.
