DESCRIPTION Stunning metallic violet/blue wings on the exoskeleton of this outstanding jewel beetle ( wood-boring beetle) which is a member of the Buprestidae family. The elytra ( hardened wings ) are highlighted with a bright violet blue colouration. Note the reflective qualities make it shimmer in the light.
Not often stocked in this colour.
