DESCRIPTION AKA Painted Beauty. Royal blue and coral/red colourings a very unusual but beautiful combination of colours on the viso of this Nymphalid. A must for collectors. This butterfly the only one in this genus is named in honor of the great naturalist Henry W. Bates.
