DESCRIPTION AKA Narrow-Line Beauty. Bright blue markings on black wings on the front wings. This large butterfly breeds in lowland wet tropical forests. They are often seen imbiding moisture from mineral-rich damp sand along the beaches of rivers. They have a rapid and powerful flight. This is a spectacular looking butterfly on both front and underside.
