DESCRIPTION AKA Great Orange tip. This is a large butterfly from the family Pieridae. The colouration is lemon with lovely bright orange tips on the top of the forewings ( apical area ) highlighted with a black dot. The female adults can be found drinking nectar from a species of Cassia plant whilst the male imbibes rich mineralised moisture from riverbanks. The underside is well camouflaged so when resting they blend in well with tree foliage. Set in white matt board
