DESCRIPTION Small butterfly with shimmering metallic turquoise blues on the verso of this spectacular specimen from the family Riodinidae ( Metalmark butterflies ). The term metamark is for the metallic spots on the hind wings. Photographs cannot do justice to the brilliant colours.
Set in white matt board to highlight the bright colouration.
