source our supplies of common, abundant insect species from Government
regulated ranching cooperatives in 15 Countries, your purchase actually
aids environmental conservation rather than detracting from it.The
Philippines is the world's leading exporter of captive bred
insects,supplying most of the butterflies to theme parks in Europe and
north America. Indeed, the export of all wild-caught fauna was banned
since 1994.
Furthermore, all of our frames are not made from real
wood. Ethical concerns over deforestation in many third world countries
has led us to pioneer the use of timber substitute framing.

All the butterflies, other insects and arachnids found in b&b™ are REAL! We do not alter, enhance or otherwise modify their natural colour.
Under normal household lighting conditions insect colours will not fade.
Many
of the framed insects are ranched/farmed specifically for the purpose.
We do not trade in species that are regarded as rare or
endangered.
b&b™ frames
are made from synthetic, timber look-alike materials. They do not
require fumigation when shipped between countries. |

Gift Box Packaging

All frames in the b&b™ ranges manufactured at our Philippines factory come individually gift boxed and shrink wrapped included in the price.
The attractive packaging features the b&b™ logo on the reverse corrugated box lid.
The packaging and shrink wrapping serves to protect the frame
during transport and provides excellent appeal "in-store" when
professionally merchandized.
