As company policy, b&b™ does not trade in endangered, rare or otherwise protected wildlife no specimen is on the CITES list . We source some of our supplies of common, abundant insect species from Government regulated ranching cooperatives in many countries, your purchase actually aids environmental conservation rather than detracting from it. Furthermore, all of our frames are not made from real wood. Ethical concerns over deforestation in many third world countries has led us to pioneer the use of timber substitute framing. All frames have glass fronts with a hook ready to hang.
With literally millions of insect specimens to choose from, the variety and range of products available is immense.

- All butterflies, other insects and arachnids found in b&b™ are REAL! We do not alter, enhance or otherwise modify their natural colour.
- Under normal household lighting conditions insect colours will not fade.
- b&b™ frames are made from synthetic, timber look-alike materials. They do not require fumigation or permits when shipped between countries.
- Many of the framed insects are ranched/farmed specifically for the purpose. We do not trade in species that are regarded as rare or endangered on CITES.

The attractive packaging features the b&b™ logo on the reverse corrugated box lid.
The packaging and shrink wrapping serves to protect the frame during transport and provides excellent appeal "in-store" when professionally merchandised.
No more searching for that elusive box or bag to carry home your b&b™ treasure.
The back of every frame contains information on care for your frame and place of orgin of species.
